I have found in the "system" event log the event ID 4226 - "TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts". I was able to find a text referring to this issue only by clicking the link within the event ID description. It didn't include a way to overcome this

I have a system, when trying to connect to the internet using the hardwired or the wireless network connection, I receive the following error. ... occured after downloading the 4226 fixit patch. will it help if i uninstall this , how do i uninstall this (its not showing in the remove program list). limewire (p2p) and since then the computer just dies without warning . it restarts okay and i,ve check events manager and seen the event id 4226 popping up
